This scholarship program was established in 1999 by Cheryl and C. Thomas Steiner in honor of Cheryl’s parents, Jack and Virginia Bradbury. Dr. and Mrs. Bradbury are both alumni of Indiana State University.
The scholarship is based in the College of Arts and Sciences and was established to assist needy students in the arts.

#3. The Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Chicago Academic Scholarship
The Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Chicago Educational scholarship funds from grants are available for Jewish college and graduate students.
For full-time students, approximately $500,000 is available each year, predominantly those legally domiciled in the metropolitan Chicago area, who are identified as having promise for significant contributions in their chosen careers.
Those with financial need who are pursuing careers in the helping professions have this scholarship primarily available for them.
Eligibility:
- Applicants must be of Jewish citizenship.
- They must have been born and brought up in Chicago metropolitan area, including Lake County, Indiana; or must have spent one continuous year being fully employed in the Chicago metro area prior to enrollment.
- After completing school, applicants must intend to remain in the Chicago metropolitan area.
- They must be entering an accredited graduate program in a helping profession. This is to be on a full-time basis for the full academic year.
- On a full-time basis for the full academic year, applicants must be entering their junior or senior years of an accredited bachelor’s degree program in a helping profession.
- They are to demonstrate financial need
- Demonstration of career promise is required of students
- There will be an in-person interview between March 1 and April 2 and applicants are to be available.

#4. The AAF-Greater Evansville Scholarship Award
Yearly in the month of April, the AAF-Greater Evansville awards scholarships to deserving high school and/or college students. AAF-Greater Evansville has distributed over $153,000 in scholarship awards over the past 40 years.
To be eligible, students are mandated to plan to pursue a career in marketing, advertising, public relations or graphic design. There’s variation in the application deadline annually but is typically in early April.

#5. Silver Pen Writing Competition
The Silver Pen’s goal is to get young adults who have an interest in the process of aging so that a culture of mutual understanding and respect for the aged in the society canceled fostered.
All high school seniors who have a minimum 3.0 GPA and live with 25-miles of one of the participating locations or attend one of the participating schools can apply for this competition:
The participating schools are Brightwater, Verdae, Cascades, Homestead Hills, The Lakes at Litchfield, Marsh’s Edge, Osprey Village, Ridgecrest, Summit Hills, The Stratford, Wellmore of Tega Cay. For this year, each community was permitted to select a topic of their own.

MetLife Foundation Scholarship is open to high school seniors pursuing a four-year degree in some select areas.
The select areas include agriculture, agribusiness management, communications, education, journalism, economics, extension, public relations, finance, sales, marketing, engineering, mechanization, plant/animal breeding and genetics, technology, plant pathology, range/soil science or public service and administration in agriculture.
Resident of Alabama, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, Minnesota, South Dakota, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, North Carolina, Oklahoma, North Dakota, Ohio, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Washington, Wisconsin or Wyoming required.
Each state is entitled to one scholarship. At $2,000, Ten non-renewable scholarships each will be awarded.

#7. Kosciusko County Community Foundation Scholarship
Kosciusko County Community Foundation Scholarship has nearly 100 scholarship funds available. It is from these funds that this foundation awarded more than $457,000 in scholarships.
As stipulated by this foundation, scholarships can be only used for tuition, academic fees, and books, but not for room and board.
Both traditional and non-traditional students can apply for this scholarship. Those who transit straight from high school to college or a vocational/technical program is referred to as Traditional students.
Those who have taken one or more years between high school and enrolling in a higher education program is referred to as non-traditional students by this Community Foundation.
They are generally 23 years or older, but can be given more narrow definition by specific scholarship funds.
For applicants to be eligible, they must be current high school or home-school program graduates, high school seniors, or are in receipt of a GED or TASC certificate. As at the time of application, applicants must be enrolled or planning to enroll in a higher education program for the upcoming academic year.

The Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Chicago administers educational scholarship funds from grants and these funds are available for Jewish college students.
For this scholarship program, more than $500,000 is available each year for full-time students, predominantly those legally domiciled in the metropolitan Chicago area, who are having promise identification for significant contributions in their chosen careers.
For those in the helping professions, assistance is available for such fellows.
Eligibility:
- Applicants must be Jewish citizens.
- They are to be born and raised in the Chicago metropolitan area including Lake County, Indiana; or one continuous year of full-time employment in the Chicago-metro area prior to enrollment.
- They are to have the Intention of remaining in the Chicago-metro area after school.
- Demonstration of financial need is required.
- Demonstration of career promise is necessary.
- Applicants should be available for an interview between March 1st and April 20th.
- Applicants are to provide two professional/academic reference letters.

#9. Indiana Sheriffs Association Scholarship
This scholarship fund was established for the purpose of receiving, investing, and dispensing funds to provide college scholarships to students who are qualified to be in receipt of it, who are committed to pursuing an education and career in the law enforcement field.

- Only Indiana residents can apply for this scholarship.
- All applicants must have a commitment towards pursuing an education and career in a law enforcement field and the institution of learning they are to subscribe to is an Indiana college/university

#10. NIADA Foundation Regional Scholarships
The NIADA Foundation that organizes this scholarship program proudly gives sponsorship to four young men or women yearly who have displayed outstanding abilities in education. These students will each be in receipt of a $3,500 scholarship to the college or university they choose to enroll in.

#11. Indiana Minority Teacher/Special Education Services Scholarship
The 1988 Indiana General Assembly created this scholarship to have the critical shortage of black and Hispanic teachers in Indiana addressed. The Indiana General Assembly, in 1990, amended the Minority program to include the field of Special Education, and in 1991, there was an incorporation of the fields of occupational and physical therapy.
The student is mandated to agree in writing that he/she would apply for a teaching position in Indiana and, if hired, teach at least three years in Indiana.
For scholarship renewal for subsequent academic years, a minority student (who is an initial recipient) must reapply for the scholarship annually. The applicant must maintain the cumulative grade point average (GPA) required to be admitted into the institution’s school of education or a minimum of 2.0 GPA or the equivalent if there’s no minimum GPA requirement for the school.
Eligibility
- Minority students (defined as black or Hispanic) seeking certification in teaching
- Students are to be seeking a Special Education teaching certification
- A student in search of an occupational or physical therapy certification
- Residents of Indiana and a U.S. Citizen
- Applicants must have been admitted to an eligible institution as full-time students or already attending as a full-time student.
- They are to be in pursuit or intend to pursue a course of study that would give them enablement. The students upon graduation are to teach in an accredited elementary or secondary school in Indiana.
- They are not in default on a State or Federally-funded Student loan
- Applicants are to complete and file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
- The Commission established some criteria to be met by applicants.

#14. CBC Spouses Visual Arts Scholarship
This scholarship is open to African-American or black students with majors in the visual arts including, but not limited to, architecture, drawing, ceramics, fashion, graphic design, illustration, interior design, painting, photography, sketching, video production and other decorative arts.
Students must be currently/planning to be enrolled in the upcoming academic year as full-time undergraduate students. A GPA of at least 2.5 is required.

#15. Frank O’Bannon Grant Program
This program is designed to provide Hoosier students with access to attend eligible post-secondary institutions. It is funded through appropriations made by the Indiana General Assembly.
The grants, targeted to tuition and regularly assessed fees do not require repayment as they are “need-based”. Due to variations in appropriations, there is yearly variation in the number of filers and the “need” of the filer base, the dollar value of state grants.

This Society provides financial assistance to encourage career related to accounting and promote financial activities for Indiana students.

This Foundation offers the Eastern Regional Chapter Scholarship to students with a Korean heritage studying in the United States.
